Colleen was appointed as the center manager of Areyeng Residence – Home for the mentally ill in 2020 after she sacrificed a lucrative corporate career to accept the position as manager.

 Colleen is a multi-talented individual with a passion to care for the most vulnerable in society.

She is responsible for the management and administration of Areyeng. Her duties include the management of the facility, financial management, liaison with the Department of Health as well as managing a staff complement of twenty-eight employees and forty-two residents.

Areyeng is a family initiative that was started by Colleen’s parents in 2002, Gawie has since passed, and Pat is retired.
